The Fashion Daily offers readers the opportunity to learn more about the fashion industry, and allows for me to express my passion on the subject. From the inspiration behind my wardrobe and personal style, to the latest creations and developments within the industry, I intend and hope that the Fashion Daily will be a space for others to learn something new and possibly even spark some new found interest. 

Now a bit about me, the writer….

My name is Megan and I am a University student studying business, with hopes to one day be an entrepreneur within the fashion industry. I am designing this website as part of a publishing course I am currently taking, and saw this as a great opportunity to express and share my love for the art. I have always been a more creative person, and when I discovered my passion for fashion and creating a personal style, I was able to channel that creativity and have an outlet. I know you have probably heard a thousand times that clothing is a form of self-expression, but I am going to reiterate that it truly is just that. When I began taking an interest in my personal style and appearance, a new-found confidence came upon me that I had never felt before. I began to find a sense of joy and fulfillment in putting together outfits, knowing that this was something completely for myself and in my control. I think that is what I love most about fashion. It can mean anything to anyone, and is completely individualistic. 

A few things about me aside from interest in fashion: I have been a competitive athlete for most of my life and love to play sports, shopping is one of my favourite hobbies ( which my bank account does not approve of), I love to spend time with my friends and family, adore animals, will find any reason to party, and thanks to Gossip Girl my dream is to visit and maybe one day live in New York!
